Yet another holiday, come and gone. Easter weekend was busy, but fun of course. Avery and Rylan started their full weekend on Friday night at the BPU Easter Egg Hunt. Rylan got his goodies handed directly to him. Avery had to work a little harder to fill her basket.
The only picture I could get of her standing still, therefore, the only picture that was not a big blur.
Rylan hanging out with Daddy, looking as photogenic as ever.
Saturday was spent in Salina. We don't get out of town for fun very often, and since we knew our Sunday would be a very full day already, we headed north to the mall and a few other stores. Avery loves shopping; Rylan is learning to like his umbrella stroller a little more. He still seems a tad concerned when big sister is pushing him around the narrow aisles at J.C.Penney's though.
Onto Easter Sunday: we woke up and had breakfast as usual. However, the Easter Bunny had definitely paid a visit to the kiddos overnight. After Avery tearing into both their presents, we got the little man dressed first. I must admit, he was born to look good. And he knows it too.
Avery got ready shortly after, and then immediately wanted to head outside to the "special surprise" (codename for playset) and swing her Easter away!
Loving the wind blowing through her hair!!!
Mom and Dad came over for lunch, and then we headed to Unruhs for Easter dinner that evening. A very fun day for everybody!
