Progress!

The 3 day weekend gave us the boost we needed to continue painting on the house. We are nearly done with the front and sides, just another coat of trim in some areas, and hopefully we can call it done! The back is another story, but we have some other work to do on the back porch before we will start painting there. I would post a picture, but I want to wait until we are completely done with the front before showing off the amazing transformation!

It really was all about the painting this weekend. Chris was on call, so we wouldn't have been able to go out of town even if we had wanted to. We had Mom and Dad over for dinner on Saturday, went to a barbecue at Ron and Pam's on Sunday, and we fed ourselves last night.

Chris is now on summer hours, which is great. He goes in to work at 7 and is off at 4 which gives us extra time with him in the evening. One hour shouldn't seem to make that big of a difference, but it really does when it comes to mowing the yard or making dinner.

Avery had her 9 month pictures taken last week (I know, she's almost 10 months) and they turned out adorable. We went to Memorial Park to have them done and the park looks just as great as the day we got married there. Here is the link to see her pictures:
