Tuesday morning, Chris received a text message first thing in the morning from his mom letting us know that Baby Emma was on the way and should be arriving within the next couple of hours. Sure enough, Emma Marie Blunck was born at 8:30 a.m. to proud parents Jenna (Chris's sister) and Don. Because we had our two appointments in Wichita on Tuesday, we didn't make it to the hospital until after dinner that night to meet our newest relative. Here are a couple of pics of Avery checking out her new cousin:
She wasn't too sure about her at first, but quickly warmed up to "Baby."

We also found out that same day our friends Gabe and Shelly were having their baby in the room right next to Jenna's. They also had a daughter, Kamryn. The neat thing about this is Avery and their son Graham were born only four days apart, so apparently the Prescotts and Unruhs have some sort of unwritten agreement to have children all close in age!
